Jesus Rant
Overcoat Theater
Writer/Creator: H.R. Britton
In sixty humorously tense minutes, New York storyteller H.R. Britton comically reflects on his fundamentalist upbringing, his own spiritual seeking, and his ongoing, nonchristian fascination with the man from Nazareth. Along the way he rails against religious hypocrisy, and delicately sketches a portrait of the historical Jesus. “Endearing” (SF Weekly). “[E]ngaging … one honest, likable guy telling his story with unaffected simplicity.” (BackStage East)

We weren’t quite sure what to expect, but were pleasantly surprised. A personal journey, well told, with humour & a touch of pathos. Solidly entertaining.
If you are religious, non-religious, or even anti-religious; you will find this show interesting, entertaining, and educational.
