I saw this last night. Found it overrated. From the reviews self-plastered all over the show descrip, I was expecting better, but all in all, I thought it was irritating. I suppose it could have been just an off first show.

I stayed for this show while the wife went to see he son’s show. I must say that this act was terrible, it’s nothing more than a copy of a madTV character Loraine and some of Mary Walsh’s characters off of This hour has 22 minutes, but much more annoying.
Overacting was the theme of this show.

This show is FANTASTIC!!! Do not let the opening night preview throw you off. This was by far the best thing I have seen at the Ottawa Fringe and the funniest show I have seen in a very, very long time. It is the type of show that audiences will either love or hate but one cannot deny that Joe: the Perfect Man gives 100% and more throughout the entire piece. Bold, daring and absolutely hilarious. A MUST SEE! This show is F’ing FUN!!!

Holy Crap…this show is funny!
I am just a regular dude…been to the theater a few times…so not a sheik Ebertesque reviewer like some of these other folks…but just know that this performance had me laughing so hard, and the actoress was so compelling that I have taken the time out of my day to come on here and say “Holy Crap…this show is funny!”

My friends, who liked the show, point out to me that maybe clown just
isn’t my kind of theatre. (I didn’t warm up to Pouffy last year, either.)
I do have high respect for anyone who pulls audience members into a show,
and I wish every performer would get latecomers to do 10 pushups on stage.
(Thank you for that!) I found the show amusing in places.
