Raven for a Lark

by Elise Newman

Two actors become dangerously inspired by Shakespeare’s bloodiest revenge tragedy. How far will they go to put on a good show? Stark and intimiate, Raven for a Lark takes a perversely funny look at the twisted world of the theatre. Warning: may be disturbing to some.

    “Raven for a Lark” is a wonderful show. The cast had a very strong opening night and the show will only continue to get better and better. The actors are both amazingly talented and the director made some lovely artistic choices. The script was also very well written! The show grabbed me into the action and before I knew it the play was over … I was completed engaged in the action. It was a great theatre-going experience. I strongly recommend this show to anyone who has an interest in serious, very-well completed, engaging theatrical performances that make you laugh, make you smile, and make you think.

    Go and see “Raven for a Lark”!

    This is a deliciously creepy play. Some theatre shows you what is;
    the actors in this play walk with you out to the edge, and then they
    push you over.

    I thought that this was a brilliant production. The director and actor all did wonderful work. These are truly two of the finest actors in this year’s Fringe Festival. I also really enjoyed the set. I recommend this show to anyone who enjoys a captivating and sometimes darkly comic character study.

    This is not one to be missed.
