Spider Juice
by John Lazuras and The Company
The Pre-Professional Company of OSSD is producing “Spider Juice”, a new collage/creation based upon the plays of internationally produced Canadian playwright John Lazarus. The piece explores the dynamic marriage of text and movement, spinning stories of conflict, communication and cooperation. Layers of meaning are juxtaposed, sampled and reinvented as characters twine and intertwine. The piece is directed by Bruce Bissonnette, with choreography by Peter Ryan.

A fresh breath of a different type of theatre for Ottawa. The fact that they took four kid’s plays and interwined the text into THIS, makes it a must see for everyone. LSD? Voodoo?! Institutions?

This is a visually and mentally stimulating piece which is also lots of fun. Well worth the short ” trip” to Westboro.
