The Kingdom Mixer
This is it folks. This is your chance to meet the artists, audiences and volunteers to make this festival amazing. Come down, have a drink, make some friends and talk about the shows. Rain or shine, tonight the Fringe tent will be hosting the Kingdom Mixer, the meet and greet of this year’s festival.
Remember, this is the Kingdom Mixer, not the “Everyone here needs a flyer and fast” evening. Yes, you should be talking up your shows but this also a chance to get know the folks. Ottawa has the benefit of an educated and passionate fanbase who loves to get to know their performers. We will have four previews this evening at 10 during Chats with Cat, three of which are for 11 o’clock shows. Come down and see what you should be seeing.
While we’re on the subject of the tent, Empire Theatres has graciously donated free passes as give-away prizes. We have enough of them that someone will be winning a movie date every night of the festival. Watch CwC every night at 10 in the tent to find out what it will take for you to win a date on us that evening. Thanks to Empire for that.
We will also be announcing the details of our Fringe Photo Scavenger hunt in the tent tonight. It may take a bit of time to get all the shots so come down and find out your targets. Also, ask Cat what the prize will be because I think she’s afraid I’ll take it. She may be right.
